Some interesting entries on both lists. I am surprised by some of those growth projections.

I agree with those lists, especially #6 on the most underrated.

Also, the median salary of a senior corporate executive is not $166K. Pull up any proxy and you see that no where even in the ballpark, even for just salary and not other compensation.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

      Interesting.

My older brother dropped out of law school after 2 year, even though he was in the top 10 in his class, to become a coach/teacher and eventually a principal. Other than paying back student loans on an educators salary, he said it was the best decision he ever made.

I was all set to go to med school and planning on being a surgeon, until my ex-BIL (the stress of residency, and the fact he is kind of an idiot -ask HFN- were a big reason he is the ex) talked me out of it. He recommended podiatry, but the thought of looking at gross feet all day, didn't sound appealing. I love what I do, have sufficient for my needs, and have zero regrets. In fact, I was surprised to not see optometry on the underrated list, it generally makes the "best of" type lists, though cost and debt is making it a lot less desirable, every year.

"Biologist" as the 4th most underrated job. Uh huh. What exactly is a 'biologist'? What are we in, the 19th century?
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

A guy from our ward is a wildlife biologist in the army. He just moved to Washington state to study salmon. Basically he gets to fish a lot he said.

Based on the pictures, I'd rather be an economist than an accountant.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Yeah, I know someone like that also. Good thing fishing is his passion, because his job certainly isn't the '4th most underrated career'.
