Whois.net is the place to go to figure out if an internet domain name is available. Sometimes it is fun to go domain mining, which simply means to query whois for domain names that might be fun or valuable to own.
So far I own my own name, my son's name, sneither, and BigInfinity. A while back I pointed out that the domain www.snizfit.com is available (it still is). Snizfit is probably too close to shiznit to be worth anything, but I like to think that the English language is big enough so that no one will have a snizfit over a word so close to shiznit.
Who can come up with the best available domain name? Simple phrases are often a good place to go mining.
