    Pike's Peak

    One of my favorite all time videos is this one of a Peugot racing up Pike's Peak. It's fun to watch:

    But I've always wondered what would happen if the car went over the edge. I guess now I know:

    In that first video I think I saw a cyclist coming down at around 2:50. Crazy s.o.b.. Can't imagine driving a rally car up Pike's Peak like that. Balls of steel.

    Edit: Just watched the second video. I googled to see if he died and he did not, though he thought he was going to. I found this link to his onboard cam.

      That's a great video [edit: the first one, not the horrific crash one]. I read that this year was the first year of Pike's Peak that the entire stretch of road was paved. I think it's too bad because I think off-road/rally is fun to watch.
