Offensive license plate

    Offensive license plate

    I saw a license plate today that was in pretty bad taste. I am thinking of finding out what I need to do to call it to someone at DMV's attention.

    The plate was one like this:



    It was not on an emergency vehicle, but rather on someone's personal vehicle. The plate read "DOA" on a rescue squad plate just like the one above. Am I overreacting? It really bothered me for some reason.

      On that plate is in poor taste I think. But I am not as offended. I grew up with a family in my ward who raced trophy trucks in Baja and their team was DOA Racing.

          The most offensive plate I've seen was back in 1986. It was a Utah plate that said "CIAO".

          The car with the plate was a 1984 K car.

              Who here besides me spent time looking for the hidden meaning in "33-665"?

                                              Yeah, offensive is probably not the right word. I just think it is in bad taste I guess. Sorry if anyone was confused by the plate I showed, it was only for the purpose of showing a "rescue squad" plate.
