Thanks Frank, in some respects reason is my religion . I'll admit that I like Frank the more I've gotten to know him. He's incredibly smart and has a very different history than me, which always intrigues me. I'll admit that he's helped soften my stance a bit on unionization, which is saying a lot.

I'll be in Utah from August 13-20. I'm not sure my exact schedule but I'd be willing to meet up with anyone if time allows. I'm always up for meeting people from CUF and I doubt there is anyone that I'd decline to meet.

This is kinda a popularity contest. So be prepared to have your feelings hurt.

Adding: pelligrino, rosebud, and RamBam to the "already met" list.
Perhaps I should be grateful that I am even on the list... But really, 6th? I would have thought I was higher.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

She preferred to avoid offending the others, because she knew you knew who was first on her real list.

no way. It's not worth it.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

Damn. I forgot to put the stipulation of "in no particular order"... BUT if there WERE an order, sup would definitely be numero uno.

I think your avatar scares people off.
One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.
