The only watches that I have now that are worth talking about are a Festina that I got after watching the Tour de France and seeing all of their sponsorship ads. I think I got it on clearance for $200. I don't wear it because the band broke and I was never able to replace it with something that was as comfortable. I also have a Nixon that I paid $250 for. That thing went through hell with me during my heavy fishery field days. Band ended up breaking due to too much pounding. Nixon said they'd replace it for $50 but the model had been discontinued by that point and couldn't find anything that complimented the red face.
The only watch that I wear these days is a Garmin 405. I wear it about 4 hours a week. Actually, due to a shipping error on Garmin's part that they never cared enough to return my call for, I have two Garmin 405's. Anyone want a discounted watch?
I have a coworker who's wife wanted to surprise him with a $1500 Citizen. She made two mistakes: 1. Didn't have a clear idea what he wanted 2. Didn't read the return policy.
