Do any of you people know what it is called when the buttons on a dress shirt are covered by a flap of cloth? Those are my favorite kind but I don't know what they are called.

I also have 4 from before and after. They seem to fit the same except for one newer shirt that seems to have a collar that is a couple millimeters higher than the others. It's not high enough to look different but it feels different as it touches higher up on my neck...which bugs me. But it's a sweet pattern and awesome shirt despite that so I wear it and ignore the annoying collar.

I think it might be the collar type. I have mostly spread collars or semi-spread. I have one shirt with the classic collar, and it is noticeably higher (and a bit clunky, quite honestly).

I'm starting to think body dysmorphia is the most likely answer to my problem with Charles Tyrwhitt.

I have 4 from before the change and 4 since the change. I've compared them all. The difference in the shoulders is almost imperceptible. The sleeve length is identical. The chest/torso is where it seems a fraction tighter, but i've measured it out and it's 1/8" to 1/4" different at best. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that I have abnormally long arms, so my 16.5/36 is not an off-the-shelf size. Supposedly that shouldn't matter with custom shirts, but maybe it does?

How many of the new ones do you have? I will admit I only have one of the old extra slims, so maybe that one is the outlier, but it is perfect. Since they made the change, every time I order a 16/34 I get a different shirt. Too tight in the chest, too short in the sleeves, maybe one sleeve is too short, etc. I've bought probably 6 or 7 since the change and only 1 has fit the same as that original extra slim.

Full disclosure: It pushed that link on me after I ordered; I think I get a deal if some presumably inordinate number of people use it.

FYI, CT apparently change their cuts at some point last year such that the new slim is the old very slim and the new very slim is made for stick people.

They also made the shoulders/chest narrower. I find that brand's lack of consistency very frustrating.
