    No Shave November Fund Razor

So, I organized a fundraiser for a study abroad scholarship here at Coker. Here are the posters:

We grew out our beards, and then shaved them for the one that got the most votes, the "Friendly Mutton Chops." We were lucky enough to have the guy who owns the beard chart, Jon Dyer of www.dyers.org, let us use his chart in our posters, which made it seem cooler than anything I could've ever come up with.

We raised $404 for the scholarship's endowment. Here are some photos of the public spectacle of shaving this morning.

$404?? That wouldn't cover the cost of the graphic design for the poster! BTW, very nice poster.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

I finished the course. When do they send me my doctorate?

In honor of wuap's fund razor, I haven't shaved for about three weeks, about the longest I've ever gone. I had to drop something off at my daughter's class and the teacher didn't recognize me. Maybe this thing has changed my appearance more than I thought. My face feels weird and eating French Dip last week had some grossness each time the au jus dripped down my beard. However, overall I kind of like having a hairy face.

I did have to trim today because it was looking kind of scraggly and I had to meet a client. Anyway, here's to a good No-Shave November to all of you bearded folk.
