It'll be a nice time to be here. The weather is cooling down. Where will you be staying?

Tip 1: Don't come before October 15th and make sure you leave by about the beginning of May.

I haven't received my hotel info, but somewhere near Memorial Park/River Oaks CC.

That's a good spot. Being close to the Galleria is best. You'll find some awesome restaurants and shopping in that area.

St Regis, baby! I lived in that hotel for around 6 months, or so it seemed.

Goode Company BBQ, Pappasitos, Pappas Steak, Pappadeaux, Cafe Annie, Marks on Westheimer, etc. Houston is a great place for food.

There used to be this place called rainbow lodge that served all sorts of funky game...ostrich, elk, caribou, etc....very interesting to try it all.

              I have a soft spot for H-town.

Also, the hotels conveniently have Arabic porn if you happen to be in the oil industry and only pretend to be a devout Muslim.
              Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Any locals care to share how long it will take to drive from G. Bush to Hobby at around midday on a Monday? I have a depo set near G.Bush, but Southwest doesn't fly there. The flight is a big enough rewards boon that I think it may be worth flying into Hobby and driving across town.

Midday like around noon? Probably 40 minutes but possibly less if you don't hit any traffic.

Don't forget to stop downtown and have lunch with me.

Definitely a possibility. Depo is at 8 am and will probably go for 2-3 hours. Flight would leave out of Hobby at 2. How long to get from downtown to Hobby?

Ask to borrow your bosses car. How long does it take from Veg to Hou at 140mph?
