Ahem. I posted this because I remember a long time ago someone else posting the sitting is killing you one, which I really liked. I thought this would be a good addition to it.
That, and I'm pretty sure Bush and Cheney are heavily invested in chair manufacturing so... what does THAT tell ya?

You seem to show a special interest in things about obesity. Is it related to your studies? Is it a particular personal anxiety? I'm always curious about why fit people sometimes zero in on obesity-related topics, especially when a pattern of posting about them develops.Originally posted by taekwondave View PostAhem. I don't know. I guess I hadn't realized I had an interest in it. You know, I take a radical interest in lots of things for a few months/years at a time. Maybe this has been something I've taken a special interest to lately in that way. I've never had any problem controlling my weight, but I found out that my dad didn't at my age either, and now he's packed on quite a bit. He's always been active and athletic and now he seems so frustrated. I bet that has something to do with it. I think I figured I'd always be safe, but I guess he thought the same thing. There's such varied opinion on the subject everywhere you look about what causes it and it's got me intrigued. My dad had a heart attack a few years back too. I don't worry too much about that, as our eating habits are very different (I'm vegetarian), and I would think my eating style of always seeking out raw fruits, vegetables and whole grains, with a daily dose of exercise would keep me safe and sound from obesity, as well as heart disease, etc, but I'd like to make sure. So I have been studying it a lot lately, as many of you seem to have noticed. I'm guessing that is probably why.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostYou seem to show a special interest in things about obesity. Is it related to your studies?
