Is Utah anything more than a commuter school w/ a good med school?

    Seems to be largely true from my experience as well. We're one of the few LDS families I know that are willing to pay 100% of our kids education....which is in line with the vast majority of our non-LDS neighbors.

    As for the commuter aspect of Utah, that's the one sticking point my daughter has about Utah, although she really enjoyed her visit there recently. I think that's what makes the greek system so fundamental in her decision. Enjoyed USU visit as well. Didn't care for her BYU visit though.
