Create a font of your handwriting in 10 minutes

While I doubt this will be interesting to most, but I figured some may find it interesting. For less than $10 and about 10 minutes time, you can create a font from your handwriting.

Here is a sample from my first attempt. I haven't bought as I'd like to redo the process cleaning up the sizing a little bit so they flow a little bit better, and I'd also like to do it with a felt tip pen as I think I'll get a better scan. But, the results aren't awful for a quick run through.

Here is the URL: (and no, I'm not collecting royalties)

I wouldn't wish my handwriting on the world. There is a guy here at work that I wish would do this. He writes in a pretty cool and really consistent font already.

Yes, it is my handwriting when I am taking time to write out each character out individually.

And if writing like a woman means I have legible handwriting, guilty as charged.

This is awesome for kids' school projects!

I would post my handwriting, but you guys would tease me mercilessly. Plus I'm too cheap.

You don't have to pay for the test. It gives you the preview before you buy.

No more excuses to avoid the teasing!!!

There was an article on a service similar to this on lifehacker a while back but it was free, I'll have to see if I can find it when I get home. I gave it a try and quickly realized that I type things so that people don't have to read my terrible handwriting.
