So far this has been a series of winter storms that I like - Snow in the mountains, rain in the valleys
You don't have to shovel rain!
I may be small, but I'm slow.
A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."
Well so much for the rain. I spent the last hour and a half clearing snow from the driveway and some of the walks. And now that I'm done it doesn't really look like I cleared much because it just keeps falling. Tomorrow morning time to salt the driveway.

I did as well. Only a few inches. When I get frustrated I just think of all the snow falling in the mountains.
"You interns are like swallows. You shit all over my patients for six weeks and then fly off."
"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault. It's my fault for overestimating your competence."
Any suggestions for an efficient method of spreading salt/de-icer along the driveway? A bucket and a cup takes way too long. Do they sell pushcarts or some other sort of mechanized tool that will expedite the process? I wonder if you could use one of those lawn fertilizer carts or if the hard salt would grind up the gears?
