CUF is blocked at work

    CUF is blocked at work

    My company got a new internet filter thingy this week and a lot of sites that are popular around the office are now blocked. People aren't exactly happy, but no one is complaining for obvious reasons.

    The weird thing is that CUF is now blocked as are a couple other forum sites, but CB is still available. I must have done something over the past couple months to bring this upon myself. Looks like I might actually have to put in an 8-hour work day in 8 hours instead of 10 .

    That sucks - They are doing the same thing at my work. So far the only site that I frequent that is blocked is Amazon.com

                    It's time to build a "cantenna" out of a pringles can and high jack some wifi from the starbucks next door. If that doesn't work find some VPN/Proxy service (be sure to use a VPN through the firewall so "the man" can't see what you are doing) or tether off your jailbroken iPhone's 3G. Don't worry... we'll get you through this.

                        I'd love to do either of these but I don't want to knowingly be going around the corporate firewall and other protections. My job is more important than CUF.....slightly.

                        I'd love this option but it would only work if I could get decent 3G reception in my office, which I can't. The only place I've found with consistent reception on my floor is the bathroom....so any posts I make during the day are likely coming from the stall
