    Linux distro for kids

    My wife has been hounding me about getting the kids (7 and under) a computer. Up until the apple subscription fiasco, I was planning on getting a Mac mini. I'm now going to get a box and plan on installing something like edubuntu.

    Anybody have any thoughts on which distro they like for kids? The KDE education project looks nice. Sugarlabs appears more focused on teachers and students.

          I force my kids to use Gentoo.
