While my temple is the Jefferson Memorial, I do plan to visit Lincoln again later this month. I felt the spirit stronger at both than I ever did in god's temples.Comment

In addition to the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials, I loved wandering around Arlington, esp the Tomb of the Unknowns. I also took the time to just wander around some of the graves of the regular GIs not just the famous ones.
I also feel very reverant at the Wall - my family has a special connection with a couple of names on it.
I may be small, but I'm slow.
