This is a fascinating and very entertaining video by Sir Ken Robinson, cleverly animated by RSA (the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce). It takes 11 minutes to watch but is worth the time. It's mainly about primary and secondary education but I'd still be really interested in what Lebowski, Pelagius, pellegrino, wuap, Solon, and others think, since they end up working with the products of that system:
