    Facebook problems

The last three days I've gotten five different e-mails with a facebook connection that contain a virus. They are fairly obvious so I don't open them but I would think that would be a real concern for them.

Most of the malware on facebook propagates in apps or videos that are sent to all the friends of the victim. It sends some kind of enticing thing to click on that attempts to get the next victim to install or "update" something or allow access to private data. Apparently one of your friends took the bait, hook, line and sinker...

my favorite is when they post something on your wall, telling you about the great deal they got on an ipad, iphone, or something like that.

I make it a point to never use any app that requires my personal information. I view them all as nothing more than fishing scams.
