The website shows two different aTm plates available--but I think you're correct about TCU.

      Nebraska
      OU

BYU would definitely be the outlier there. I like that.
Also, UGA and Arkansas are on the website.

The Old North State allows you to request special collegiate plates and when they get a certain number of requests, they'll offer the plate. It's a low number and I'm surprised BYU isn't offered. They have Purdue, GA Tech, Florida and a few others. And of course, a lot of NASCAR plates.

        NC Plates
I have nothing else to say at this time.

I saw on this BYU Yahoo group that Virginia will sell them as well if they can get 350 prepaid orders. I know a guy is trying to round up some people Haddow has already put in for 10 each one of his Bentleys. Surfah or UD either of you interested in picking one up for the school you grew up cheering for?

I'd definitely be in for one. They're only $25. You just need someone to sponsor it and get the 350 pre-paid plates. If you know who is facilitating this let me know. I am sure someone has the ball rolling somewhere. Virginia has a million specialized plates. They have community college plates.

I wouldnt be surprised to read a myboynoah report of similar developments in Tokyo. Do japanese bikes have license plates?
Actually, the answer is yes. But even then, given the current political situation, there are currently no plans to issue BYU/Duke of the West-themed license plates in the next few months. Total bummer.

That hasn't stopped us from representing.

              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Got an email from Virginia Alumni yesterday and I am #127 of the 350 required for VA plates. If any other Virginia alums want in, let me know and I can get you the info.

Yeah, I think it might be time to dial it back some.

I like the example for Texas plates that just don't make sense:

I also like the comment: "Or maybe I've just lived in Texas long enough to develop an irrational hatred for OU. Ten weeks seems about right."

FTR, I've never seen one of these plates.

You live in Austin. What do you expect? They would string someone for less than that.

I have seen them up this way. Of course, I only live about 50 miles from Occupied North Texas.

I was actually thinking I was surprised I hadn't seen one upside down. SR3S07 or something.

That plate reminds me of this hat that I saw a guy wearing at the mall

The first thing I did to my BYU plate here in Utah was to take a Blue Sharpie and color the big red "Utah" on the top of the plate.

I like that idea. Mine is still red. I might go a step further and put a sticker over the word Utah and replace it with "B Y U"

If a cop pulls me over I will apologize and tell him I will fix it.

My BYU plate is actually not official - I made my own Oval Y plate before they were made available by the DMV. All the special edition plates are the same except for the sticker they put on the left side and across the bottom. I purchased the cougar-on-BYU plate, and I was tempted to ask the clerk just to leave the stickers off so I could put my own on, but I didn't think she'd go for that. So as soon as I had the plate in hand, I sat down in a chair at the DMV, pulled the cougar sticker off and replaced it with an Oval Y sticker that I had made at the local mall vinyl sticker kiosk. Four months later the DMV started offering the Oval Y.

The new car I bought on Monday will be sporting an official Oval Y plate.
