    My daughter is sick. Any ideas?

    6 years old; comes home from school everyday with a fever (her temp is normal in the morning) ans sleeps from about 4pm to 8am, with a small break for dinner.

    No symptoms, no pain, just dead tired with a fever.

    Growth spurt? Cancer? Mono?

          Get that kid to a doctor. Now. Please.

          It mat be nothing more than a fever, and I don't want to sound alarmist, but I've had to deal with these symptoms before and know that they can also be not good things. No reason to take a chance if this has been going on for multiple days.

                      Sounds like what I did when I had mono.
