    I'm not going to mention any sites directly, but if you do a Google search on most popular BitTorrent sites, you'll get lists of the top sites with descriptions. At least one of those requires no membership and is likely to have ripped versions of most popular movies.

    I don't generally download movies that way, but occasionally use them for music if I want to listen to an artist that I don't already have.

    Beware that some of them are supported by ads that you don't want to click on, at least on a Windows machine, unless you have good file protection running. I had to reinstall everything once on my home system because of that.
