I've gotten some conflicting stories about virtual keyboards (I don't have a phone with a virtual keyboard). Some are left wanting for a physical keyboard while other users get by fine with the virtual. Should someone with moderately big hands (not Rondo sized mind you, and I don't have sausage fingers), stay away from the virtual only keyboard?

Virtual keyboard vs. physical keyboard
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”Tags: None

I stay away from anything that doesn't have a full keyboard that I can use as a touch typist without looking at it. But I'm hard-core anti-cell phone (or any other similar electronic device).Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostI've gotten some conflicting stories about virtual keyboards (I don't have a phone with a virtual keyboard). There was an adjustment period, but I'd guess I that I'm faster now on a virtual keyboard. Especially with Swype (depending on the application--I turn Swype on and off depending on what I'm doing, but I can fly if it's standard conversation with Swype). At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I love Swype. Like crekestre said, it takes a little time to master but once you do, it's very fast. I do have to type in some words (unusual names, e.g.) but Swype gets it right most of the time.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

Swype is awesome."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."
