    A bad omen.

As I was walking from my parking lot at work across the street to my office, I was eying this Corvette. I looked away for a moment and heard thud from that direction. When I got up close, this is what I saw. No joke.

You should send that into Rome or post it on his facebook page. He actually collects pics of silly customized Corvette license plates and often will reset them on the show. Usually pretty funny.

Excuse both my stupidity and my eyes, but is that a dead bird on the hood?

I thought it was bird poop. I was going to say that I didn't know that there were teradactyls still living. What is it with corvettes and vanity plates? Is it a requirement?

once you decide to own/drive/be seen in a corvette, does the rest really matter anyway?

Unless it was one of these, then yes I would agree with you.

I think the vanity plate captures the moment perfectly.

Also, vanity plates in Virginia cost $5. Lots of people in VA have vanity plates.

What would your vanity plate be? Assuming you could use 6-7 letters.
