    Edit: the internet says it's little used, but I still see it in a lot of station and rail yard lighting design criteria. I guess that's because railroads always act like it's 1902.

      Acre-feet is so much cooler than M^3.

        I see foot candle whenever i'm dealing with an insurance claim/lawsuit arising from inadequate lighting. I think it's referenced in the IBC.
