When was the last time you had one?

I haven't been in 5 years. I had one scheduled a few weeks ago, and then my MIL passed. I rescheduled it for next week.

I am fat, but otherwise typically healthy. But I know I am getting to the point in my life where I probably need to do this annualy.

What about the rest of you?

I had this very discussion with my wife this morning. I've put them off for years and now I need to start doing them on a regular basis. I'm looking for a good doctor in Davis County for a visit in November. If anyone has any recommendations, I'd appreciate it.

I got a physical before the Kenya trip and the doctor thought I was a weirdo for wanting one. Apparently they never find anything so they're just not worth doing for anybody under 40 or so. It was free and I was in there for tons of shots and pills so no big deal.

Does a visit to fill out the scout medical form count as a physical? I do one of those each year, but they consist of no more than a blood pressure measurements, a glance in my ears, and a weight measurement.

I get one annually and look forward to it. It includes an extensive blood test and I'm able to see online my results very quickly (hours in many cases) and compare them with previous years'. It's very motivating. If there's something wrong going on somewhere inside me, I want to know about it.

I have one once a year. I have to get my uric acid checked, and I like to know my CBC and hemoglobin A1C levels.

Type one diabetes --> more than two physicals a year, plus visits to the endocrinologist and all the other specialists i see.

Is there a way to just get the blood work done and have them explain it to you without the first visit?

I've told this before, but I went 25 yrs between physicals. When my wife finally got me to get one, I was diagnosed with diabetes. I now go every year.

I sent Aristides in for a physical last week. We have been married 12 years and he has never gone for a physical, though he did go see a family doctor about 6 years ago for a knee issue.

I have not had a physical since the 10th grade. I needed one to play football. That was 13years ago.

I am trying to think if I have ever had a full physical as an adult, you know, other than a basic pelvic exam, which I haven't had in 2 or 3 years.
