I won’t try to argue five guys quality - I’ll just say their burgers just do it for me. Not sure I can explain it. Though to your point, the grilled onions, mushrooms, bbq sauce, tomatoes and mayo certainly don’t hurt.

Their pickles are heads and shoulders above In N Out's.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Yes! Didn't they also have a personal pizza and 32 oz drink for a $1.99 or something? That was a go to when things were tight, which was quite often back then. Heaven should be made up constantly getting to relive the best parts of college at BYU.

Since I didn't particularly enjoy my college years at BYU, my fate is probably that of Phil Connors in Groundhog Day. In the hereafter, I'll be reliving my BYU experience until I get it right.

I remember that place. I got the special many times......unfortunately. When Pizza Pipeline opened if felt like I died and went to heaven. I'm old enough to remember when there was a The Pie across from Helaman Halls.

I bought so many large one-topping carryout pizzas from that place.

There was a pizza place called Good Time Charlie’s over there for a while. They had a cheese pull-apart that was late-night dorm food magic.

Was that the old Roy Rodgers?

My sisters - both - worked at Baskin Robbins in 70 and 71.

Can't believe that Baskin Robbins is still there. It is like a time machine.

Seriously, I'm ready to use some of the allocation of f-words that you have given me in response to some of the comments in this thread.

In-N-Out is delicious. It is great for a fast food chain burger. It is the best.
The fries are also good, but not great.

                      Arby's is inedible.
Burger King seems to someone get worse every year it is in existence.

Why would I do that when I could go to DP Cheesesteaks instead which is not far away. Or just walk a few feet further and eat at Asa Ramen.

They were good burgers, at least to this kid's palate.
That's a Crown Burger. As I understand it, it was also Majerus' Crown Burger location.

My sister and her husband went to that Crown Burger for lunch after they were married in the SL Temple.

I guess it is better than getting busy in a Burger King bathroom.
