I'm heading to Tallahassee this weekend for the game. I've never been there. Does anybody have suggestions on cool things to do in the area? Tasty food?
Where are you sitting? We'll be in the north endzone.
I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but there is some wildlife preserve or state park about 15 miles straight south of town where you can take a swamp tour on a boat and see manatees and gators. It is especially cool if you've got kids. I also know that it's easy to get lost in Tallahassee. Bring your GPS.
Heading to Tallahassee today. Making a family trip/vacation of it. Beaches, Disneyworld, etc. Hopefully the game will have some good memories too, but I'm not expecting a win.
This describes me exactly, except that I'm not leaving until Friday.
I'm heading down on Friday as well, although I'll probably stay an hour or two outside of Tallahassee Friday night. I am on the west side. Section 32, row 26. Fell free to stop by! I'll be the guy sitting next to the teenager who looks like he wishes he wasn't sitting at the game with his father.
I think he was talkin' about some sort of motorboat show involving this:
According to the website tallahasseemagazine.com, they say one of the best things to do in Tallahassee is to go to Landis Green on campus and check out the coeds.
