  • A house divided....

Our oldest daughter is a senior at Murray High. Our oldest son is a sophomore at Cottonwood High. Cottonwood plays at Murray tonight.

    Fun times.

Sounds like my house. My daughter goes to Lone Peak and my wife works at American Fork.

I graduated from East, sister 1 year older graduated from Highland, sister 1 year younger graduated from Skyline.

I guess you could say we were a house divided.

          How did that divide happen?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I saw 57-0 as the final score for Cottonwood.

As hostile mentioned, it was a lopsided win for Cottonwood. The boy and his sister found each other after the game and hugged. No taunting or lamenting. I was shocked.

Tim, they go to different schools because of the unique location of our house with regards to school boundaries. We are in Granite School District but when Murray City annexed the area we live in a number of years ago, we became located in Murray School District too. Our kids had a choice to go to junior high or high school in either district. The girl decided to go to Murray District to get away from a few kids who tormented her in elementary school.

That football region this year will be controlled by Cottonwood, West and Skyline. I actually like Murray though and would like to see them be a bit more competitive.
