    My book isn't a textbook but I think we will move a fair number of copies. I think we are splitting 16% of the royalties and the rest goes to the publisher. But I am not in it for the money in this case so every check will be viewed as a pleasant surprise.

    I was approached by a publisher once to do a textbook on programming. The numbers he was tossing around were tempting but that is a competitive market and I didn't feel comfortable investing that much time with so much uncertainty about the payback.

      I may be small, but I'm slow.

      A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."
