    NCAA 14 BYU Dynasty Sim

    I don't know where else to put this so this looks as good as any. I'm playing NCAA 14 for the first time and doing a dynasty in coach mode. So I don't actually control the players, just recruit and pick the plays. I'm having a blast. I also have created a promotion/relegation system with each of the P5 conferences being tied to a G5 conference and each season one team from each P5 is relegated while one team from each G5 is promoted. Anyway, if anyone is interested in hearing about my escapades or want to chime in with your own, let me know and I'll update on how my seasons go. I'm currently in the beginning of my third season. And of course, I put BYU in the Big 12.

      did you ever visit operationsports? That place was awesome for all thing NCAA 2014. They were the ones that would create full rosters every season. So cool.

          I have visited that place often when googling questions, especially with adjusting the sliders that impact the gameplay. I haven't posted there, just read a little bit of content.

              Man I love that game, but haven't played it in the longest time. I'm waiting for the latest EA installment since the Bannon litigation fell against the NCAA's favor.

                  This may be what gets to finally get a next gen console. Starfield was close, but I have held off.

                      I bought a nice new gaming PC this year so I should be able to play Starfield somewhere between High - Ulta settings. I'm playing NCAA 14 on an emulator on the PC and I'm really hoping that new version next year gets a PC release. I have a Switch (no hope there) and a gaming PC, but not PS or xbox.

                          Since I'm also a soccer fan (EPL) I really like the promotion/relegation system and wish that we had it in American sports. So I've encorporated it into my dynasty sim. For each P5 conference, the champions get a free pass on not being relegated the following season, and the team with the worst conference record gets relegated to their sister G5 conference. Accordingly, the champions of each G5 conference get promoted to their sister P5 conference. This is how I started things off.

                          So after the first season (2013) California was relegated from the PAC-12 to the MWC and Boise St. was promoted. Teams in green were champions and teams in red were relegated. Yep, Alabama got relegated! And yes, I started Vanderbilt and Missouri in the Sun Belt. The Sun Belt just needed more teams and since I had them paired with the SEC, I just poached who I felt were the two weakest teams, lol. Georiga, despite not making it to the SEC champions game, won the overall BCS game to end the season ranked #1.

                          And yes, I won the B12 with BYU, but I was playing on some pretty easy settings as this was my first time playing NCAA 14 and I'm doing it on coach mode. I lost 1 game all season, to Oklahoma St. I beat Boise St in the Fiesta Bowl.

                              I've wondered if this is possible for college football.
