I loved her in Schitt's Creek and the three mockumentaries. She had true talent.

As a kid who strongly identified with the plight of Kevin McCallister, I always sort of side eyed her (Schitt’s Creek didn’t really help).

John Brodie
The first '9er QB I remember. Great Athlete - after retiring from the NFL went on to play professional golf on the senior tour.

This is quite the byline:

He played a key role in ending apartheid South Africa’s secret weapons program in the 1980s by helping the African National Congress bomb critical facilities.

Despite his weird and racist takes in recent years, Adams was a very funny and often insightful cartoonist. He lived much of his adult life and died here in Pleasanton (CJF and I dined at his restaurant here). The obvious lesson is to stay on top of your PSA level and to get real medical help sooner rather than later. Although my prostate cancer was fairly advanced within the prostate, it apparently hadn't metastasized, and the treatment regimen i chose has resulted in a PSA of <0.1. I continue to be reassured that I won't die from prostate cancer (so many other options...).

Yes, that he initially treated with Ivermectin instead of radiation and chemo. He then turned to those medically-sound treatments when the cancer had metastasized to a point that it was incurable.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View Post
Didn’t that dude die of metastatic prostate cancer?

He became a huge weirdo the last few years.Originally posted by happyone View PostNo more Dilbert
Scott Adams was 68. The man knew the culture of tech!!
I had a Dilbert daily calender on my desk for most of the last 15 yrs of my working life
His voice issue also really would have sucked.

I didn’t realize the actor who played Ziggy Sobatka passed away this month too. Tragically by suicide.
I’m not going to post what he is most remembered for on The Wire.
