          Do you know him? No shade on the lunch, that's a nice gesture. I'm just wondering if this guy is going around buying lunch on a 2-3 person basis as a means to grow his social media presence.

            No clue who he is. If he's spending YouTube money on feeding soldiers, he's either a marketing genius or his accountant is having a nervous breakdown.

            If we knew someone who was both an accountant and a YouTuber, we could check with them on the strategy in question.

              Looking at the subscriber count and, more importantly, the view count on his videos makes me think that he understands YouTube way better than I do.

              That said, don't subscribe to the channel unless you're interested in watching the videos. Subscribers who don't watch videos from the channel just prevent YouTube from showing it to more people. If not even the subscribers are interested in the video, why would the general public be interested?
