I don't know how it has been operated since 2013, but if it hasn't already been folded into the larger BYU Housing operation, I expect it will get major facelifts to do that. The process should be streamlined. I assume that heretofore, it has simply been run as a private entity which happens to be owned by a company owned by the Church.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View Post
Agreed. What I'm unsure of is whether that will mean any substantive changes in how it's operated.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Hmm, now that I think about, you are probably right about the facelift coming. When we tried to sign my son up, their website said many of the rooms were only for the Fall semester and they would not sell contracts for Winter semester as remodeling would be taking place.Originally posted by falafel View Post

I wonder if this isn't a response to the latest policy asking/forcing complexes to go in or out as BYU approved housing. Maybe most of them opted out and BYU wants to provide more "in" options for students.
Not sure of the percentage of complexes that opted in or out, but speaking antecdotally, the complex where we own a condo opted out.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
