    Disneyland suggestions/feedback.

Our family is looking at the possibility of a quick Disneyland trip Thanksgiving weekend. Have any of you been to Disneyland that weekend? If so, is it insane or a good time to visit the park? Anything special going on in So Cal during Thanksgiving weekend that would be fun for the family?

    TIA.

It gets pretty crowded on holidays. The lines get looooooooooooooong.

That's what I was afraid of. Maybe we'll go to San Diego and hit the zoo and Wild Life park and then Disneyland the following Monday.

We've done Sea World twice over Thanksgiving. It's been a little more crowded than usual, but not unbearable. I imagine the Zoo and Wild Animal Park are similar.

I've never been on a holiday, but I think the best time to be at Disneyland is at night when the parade starts. Everyone goes to watch the parade, and you can walk up to pretty much any ride in the park without worrying about lines.
          Not that, sickos.

            We've been over thanksgiving.

I actually think that if you are going to pick a holiday to go, this should be the one.

It is the least crowded on Thankgiving day. Friday and Saturday obviously get pretty crowded.

            They aren't unbearable lines though.

it's pretty busy around the holidays because everyone thinks that nobody goes therefore they go.

We have gone the week after labor day the last few years. No problems at all with lines. In fact we pretty much walked on every ride. Until about 4pm when all the season pass holders get out of school/work. The nights were fairly busy. But the day was awesome.

Come to Tokyo. Thanksgiving Day is a great day to go to Disneyland here. Japanese are at work and in school.

I would say insane. I have not been to Disneyland on Thanksgiving weekend, but I have been to other local attractions, and it always seems very crowded.

My family goes about 6 times every year. We have been on Thanksgiving twice...and it was not too bad. I would give it a 7.5 out of 10 as fat as park capacity goes. If you are lucky, it will lightly rain that day...and then it will be pretty empty...because locals rarely go when it rains.

Veterans day is the day to go. FYI
