Good meaningless sayings and cliches

There are a few cliches and sayings around that don't really mean anything but sound good. A couple of my favorites:

You can't tell which way the train went by looking at the tracks.
and
The black cat is always the last one off the fence.

Do you have any others like these that I can use when I want to say something that sounds good but doesn't really mean anything?

Sorry, but that one just lets me know that the person doesn't understand math.

Kind of like some of the posts I've seen on this forum with something like "99.999999% of people [do whatever]". Clearly not from someone who did well in the math courses.

Those first two are pretty awesome, Scott. And the more times I read them, the more awesome they become.

"There's more than one way to skin a cat".

I find that this saying can be used in any number of situations - when you agree with someone, when you disagree with someone, when you agree to disagree with someone, or when you weren't paying close attention and have no idea what someone just said.

I bet if you asked him he might say he spelled it 'teats' as that is how i learned it from my grandpa and that is how I say it to my kids, but who knows what they hear.

The speaker @ my law school graduation used this phrase during his rambling address. I still don't know what it means.
