I've never really used the BB Messenger feature until recently. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are international charges associated with this feature? I use it now to stay in contact with my team locally, but if it is free, I'll use it as a text messaging service for family and friends in the US.

BBM is the best! From what I have been able to see as long as you aren't roaming it is free.

Yes, I am mean and I do regularly move my bowels. I only occasionally bbm you during a bm because you so seem to enjoy hearing of it. I had no idea it would later be used as a weapon against me.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostAt showing what a mean person you are, and how often you poop. You find me something that does both of those things better?

Apparently BlackBerry is working on a BBM app for Android and possibly iOS. I could not be happier. I really miss BBM.

BGR has learned from multiple trusted sources that Research In Motion is planning to bring its beloved BlackBerry Messenger app and service to Android, and eventually to iOS as well. According to our sources, RIM has not yet finalized details surrounding timing or pricing, but we have heard that the company might make the software free to all users. We’re also told strategy is still being developed, however, and RIM may end up charging users a one-time fee or even a recurring fee for access to its BBM service on third-party platforms.
It might seem a bit strange for RIM to want to bring the software that is responsible for keeping BlackBerry devices in the hands of countless potential defectors, but in the big picture, we think it could make sense. The company is getting very frustrated with applications like WhatsApp and Kik offering third-party experiences based on a concept RIM invented, and RIM apparently wants to own the space.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
