    Snow Grinch

I hate snow. I woke up to 3 inches this morning and I am pissed. I am debating whether or not to take my daughter out in it for her to have the experience. Fortunately, I think I gave birth to another snow grinch so I don't think she cares that much. These are the times I wish Surfah was here to be the cool/better parent. Snow sucks!

You know how President Hinckley said he doesn't worry about those who pray? The same can be said for men who are self-aware enough to know when there's a life to be lived outside of the world of video games. - Anonymous

Seconded. Great in the mountains, but I don't want it in the valleys.

I am the opposite. I love snow. When we have these strings of 2-3 weeks without snow, I just walk around pissed off most of the time. I love everything about snow - the way it looks, driving in it, playing in it, hunting in it, etc. I don't even mind shoveling it.

          Ditto.

I love it here in Utah, and think the snow looks beautiful on the snow capped mountains,,,,but I hate it down in the valley.

I'm warming to snow here again after this weekend. It's better than looking at the brown grass, and now that my roommate and I figured out how to get her snowblower she inherited up and running--I don't know that there's two people more mechanically inadept who didn't ride the short bus to school so it was a bit of a project--it's not so bad clearing the driveway.

One of the great things about having a house that faces the southwest is that I would wait until late afternoon to clear the driveway. Let nature do the work.

Now it is my son's duty to make sure that the drive and sidewalk is cleared. It's one of his many steps to manhood. Like my father, his father and his father before him, I won't tell him about the position of the sun during the winter months. He'll have to learn that on his own. Unlike me, however, my son's dad had the goodwill to buy a home that faces the correct direction. The house I grew up in faced due north.
