So my wife has this crazy idea that for a family trip she wants to go camping, fishing, outdoorsy stuff etc. Well I am not a camping guy so anyone know of a good place that we can go fishing and what not, get a taste of the outdoors but we do not have to sleep in the dirt? Maybe rent a cabin or something like that?

You could look into the church's property up in Heber. I imagine there is a fairly significant waiting list as it's mostly used for girls camp, but the cabins there are nice and it's a good area not too far away. Reservations are required.

Not in Utah but Star Valley Wyoming has a lot of cabins for rent. A plus is that they have a golf course. Also pretty close to Jackson Hole.

You know I have a good friend with a condo in Star Valley on Johnny Millers new golf course. If you stay in the condo you get to play golf for free. This is not a bad option as I could stay in his condo for nothing.
