    I'm riding pretty high tonight.

I'm trying to establish myself as a family law appellate lawyer here in Orange County, and I just found out from the court website that I had a Petition for Rehearing granted on a case I came on specifically for the Petition for Rehearing. (My client handled his case and appeal himself, unsuccessfully, but totally got screwed by the judge.)

Essentially, I wrote a brief telling the appellate judges they were wrong and showed them why they were wrong, and by granting the Petition they're saying, "You're right, we were wrong. Oops."

And yet, I can't ever seem to get that sort of reaction from Tex or Johnny Lingo or Snipe.

Is there any way I can use this to build up my CB cred?
If we disagree on something, it's because you're wrong.

    CB cred is overhyped.

    Anyway, good job!
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

CB cred is based on unimportant and uncertain criteria. It's all about who can out conservative who and how often you can regurgitate Rand, Hayek, and ETB. I don't know why anyone would want that kind of cred.

      congrats on the ruling.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

P.S. You probably don't come off as a troll in appellate court.
