Shaka, you have some very impressive talents. How cool. I love when you post pics of your work, either building guitars or building amps
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Definitely a painfully accurate observation. I will now go cry on my electronics.

actually, that cleavage is seared into my memory.

            I withdraw the observation!

Your wish is my command. Funny thing is that the functionality of the amp was only partially there. I got the thing to pass a signal at noon today and then headed for the amp show. I have some work to do to get the tremolo working and get rid of a bit of hum but all in all the amp sounded really good. This is not me playing btw.

That's an amazing end product. Sleek design. I didn't notice much of the hum from the Youtube video, but it is Youtube. What Silvertone model is this based on? I have been tinkering with the idea of an amp build. I'm a novice though and haven't really looked much past the standard Weber kits online.

Currently working on the second prototype with my partner. It's a bit behind because I'm trying to get moved into my new house.

This amp is based off the Silvertone 1482. The final design ended up a bit different but it's a ton of fun.

If you want to start out with a kit I recommend Trinity Amps out of Canada or Ceriatone out of Malaysia. Both are run by excellent people and have awesome forums to help you through any problems you may encounter.

It is? I think you are thinking of the missle. Or the sharp part of a bee.

I've been looking for a low watt tube to be able to play inside a house or small club. My friend had a fender bassman head that we matched with 3 or 4 difference cabs to get the right sound at whenever venue we were at. It would be nice if I could get a low watt head and have a couple of speaker configurations with the cabs. I'll have to check you what they have to offer at the sites you provided.
