The PM I sent to you pointed out that I thought it was wise that you ignore my posts, and that even though I wouldn't refrain from responding to your posts (I won't), that I would refrain from making personal attacks as long as you did the same. I stated that I would continue to make you look stupid, however I would do so by showing the error of your reasoning rather than openly calling you names. That holds true for everyone who makes stupid arguments, though because of the way you have dealt with me in public, I confess to taking some guilty pleasure when the opportunity arises to point out the many errors of your thinking.

I am always happy to honor the request of anyone who doesn't want to receive PM's from me, however, within any particular PM conversation, I will address any outstanding issues, regardless of whether someone tells me not to respond. In other words, if you send me a profanity laced attack against my person and my family, which you did, and then you say, "... and don't respond!" I will ignore that last request, as you created unfinished business. IPU, I won't send you any more PM's, but I will continue the PM conversation in which you attacked me and my family for as long as you continue to respond.

So there you go. It is a public message board, and as long as you spread your ideas in public, I will occasionally respond to those ideas in public. I won't call you 'stupid' in public, as long as you are respectful in public. I won't start any new PM's, but I won't leave an unfinished conversation alone, especially after what you said about my family. If you don't respond to my responses, the PM conversation will come to a natural conclusion.

I think that is all pretty reasonable.

I agree. It reminds me of times when someone will say something horrible to me, then when I act a bit agitated, they tell me to "calm down." When you start a conversation, especially an accusatory one, you don't get to decide when the conversation's over.

I am aware of the history. But the connection to IPU didn't make as much sense if he didn't have a gun in his hand. I appreciate the accommodation.

ilPad, why don't you post the whole PM discussion, to show everyone what a cancer I was. Post both sides of the conversation verbatim, and let folks see how badly I treated you.

Edit: Actually I just looked at your two responses, both containing profanity laced personal attacks, but you never asked me to not respond to your PM. You did say that there was no reason to respond, which I disagreed with, because you had started something abusive and were trying to let your last profanity be the final word. So, il Pad, you are a liar. Don't tell everyone that you asked me to not PM you, because that is a lie. I give you permission to post the full conversation, verbatim.
