Green, clover-shaped pancakes for breakfast and a visit from a candy-bearing leprechaun.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I traditionally celebrate St. Patty's Day with a fine bottle of Jameson Gold Reserve.

Growing up it was birthday cake. My brother's birthday is today. No other traditions. My mom would often make corned beef and cabbage. We don't do anything in our family now. I never thought about it before. Perhaps we should.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

we are weak, we don't do anything

Today I did wear a shirt and tie in shades of green, though.

I generally lump this holiday in with New Year's Eve in that it isn't very LDS friendly since the main activity is drinking (or a cool parade if you live in NYC or Chicago).

Maybe for the sake of the kids we could try to establish something although I have to be honest....putting green food dye in stuff: I don't want to eat green pancakes or green cake or whatever it is people dye prior to eating (not even green eggs and ham).
                Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

You don't like them, so you say...try them and you may, I say!

Corned Beef and Cabbage tonight for dinner

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

We often have Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner, but looks like we won't tonight, as I forgot it was St. Pat's day until I saw this thread. Luckily, I am wearing my green slacks.

I like to live on the edge and not wear green to see if anyone dares pinch me.

I wore a green sports bra to the gym this morning. I guess green is not a popular sports bra color because it was the only color on the clearance rack.

OUrt St. Paddy's day started with our 10 month old being a little green, as in green
