Church clothing question

    Church clothing question

    As is tradition in the HFN house we have bought some sweet new Easter gear to wear to church in celebration of bunnies, eggs and resurection. However last night I realized that Easter fell on a General Conference weekend.

    My question is this, should we rock our Easter outfits the week before or not at all? This years color scheme is light green and purple.

      I would do it on F&T Sunday. I don't know why but that just seems to fit the F&T vibe better to me. So find oyu what your ward is doing and wear it then!

          What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

                  I think your only solution is to go watch General Conference in Utah. You and your family can hang out on Temple Square for Easter Sunday and maybe, just maybe your pic will be in the Ensign come May.

                      HFN and, I believe, his wife and kids are all white. Unless he goes C. Thomas Howell on us, there's no way the church paparazzi are putting him in the Ensign.
                      Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                              I did see last year's version which is why I want pictures of this year's ensemble.

                                  My wife was excited when she realized Easter and Conference were on the same day. She'll be buying dresses for our girls on sale the week after Easter to wear the following Sunday.

                                              I've never gotten a dress (or any other new clothes) for Easter.

                                              My wife buys our kids stuff, though.

                                                      Go for it! Wear the Easter stuff on General Conference Sunday. We just wear our PJ's....or you can ask Tick about the Easter that his MIL made him a matching Pink Tie to go with the dresses she made.
