I just dropped my book in a urinal on the Bainbridge Island ferry. I snatched it quick as Kruger grabbed that fumble against BYU. Only a corner got wet. It's expensive and I had to get it on Amazon. I soped up a paper towel *nd scrubbed that cornewr. Should be okay?

Gross. Wtf were you doing with a book at a urinal? Do you read while you stand at a urinal?
This is seriously giving me the heebs. I hate even going into public restrooms. Here you are spelunking into urinals so you can pull out something to read.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I dropped my wallet into a full toilet once. It was a longer wallet, as long as a checkbook. I had it in my back pocket as I was "making" and when I stood to pull my pants up the wallet caught on the edge of the toilet and flipped into the bowl. I fished it out, rinsed it off and used it for a couple more years.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostGross. Wtf were you doing with a book at a urinal? I have a urinal in the master bathroom here at 1 HFN plaza and I agree, the only acceptable reading at the urinal is if the sports page is tacked up to the wall above it.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostGross. Okay it's not that expensive but I can't buy it at the corner bookstore and don't want to wait for a new one. I don't want to buy another one. So I rehabed it.When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

As Landpoke points out, urine is sterile. You can gargle with it. I would imagine that anyone with your renowned *ahem* proclivities would know that. Or is this whole post a shoddy attempt to amend your reputation?

And also, dude, you are reading the equivalent of a philosophy 101 textbook. 23 questions from 23 philosophers? Do you have a poster of Nietzsche hanging in your bedroom too?

This is not like a philosphy 101 textbook. It's written by the purported foremost historian of western philosophy in the world, at least according to the New York Review of books article I read on it. Regardless, I am not an expert in philosophy, and neither are you, I'm sure.Originally posted by RobinFinderson View PostAnd also, dude, you are reading the equivalent of a philosophy 101 textbook. 23 questions from 23 philosophers?
