I'm going back to iOS5 when I get home. The battery drain is ridiculous. I'll come back to iOS6 when it gets fixed. I remember they had a similar issue when iOS5 was released and they issued a patch pretty quickly to fix the problem. Hopefully this one doesn't take as long.

And it's not just because it's an older phone. Even when I turn off wifi, siri, gps, notifications, etc. (basically everything but the 3G and phone) it still drains like crazy. My battery was out by 11am today, which means it drained in 5 hours on standby since I didn't use it at all.

A co-worker who has ordered through AT&T received an email that says "shipped" but the tracking number isn't working. Just throwing that out there.

I upgraded last night and haven't noticed any difference in my battery life today. I have a 4S.

                      • New maps app is a big letdown thus far. Perhaps the servers are overloaded with everyone trying it out.
