The basic variables are gender, marriage year, education level, and age at marriage. The calculator then computes how frequently a divorce occurs in the next five years for people with the same demographic profile as you (based on census data). Unfortunately, it doesn't use religion as a variable (that would have been fun).

It was interesting that the age choices, at least on mine, had the specific age of 22 as one choice, while all the others were a range of years. I was 22 (by 12 days) when I got married. I feel special, but wonder why, 22 is its own category.

10% and 4% for me. Interesting that when I put my wife's info in it came out to 6% and 7%. And they asked if there were any kids with her stats. I guess statistically men don't factor in children when making that decision while women do.

I'm at 1% and 8%. Data doesn't look good for the next five years. Hopefully I solve my insomnia well before the data over comes her and we become a statistic.

N/A = non-applicable, i.e. you'll likely be dead before you have a chance to divorce.
