I am watching the two towers from the Lord of the Rings and notice that the uruk-hai (sp?) use really big stinkin' spears. Is there some reason for this? Why has no one used them since?

hell yeah. You should see what that sucker does when you bury it under a pile of snow and then plug it in. ka-boom! We bought a bunch and a few cases of PBR, then invited the kin and all the neighbors over to watch!
