    My 2009 in lists

I would be really interested to see how you guys evaluate your 2009.

(note: I will emphatically acknowledge this is by no means a comprehensive "best of" list; this is based merely on what I've seen and experienced)

    Personal moments:
    5. visiting friends and family in Oregon in September.
    4. gaining a full-time job.
    3. living in Provo for 1 1/2 months and being able to walk to work.
    2. graduating from college.
    1. watching my brother graduate from Marine boot camp.

    Sports moments:
    5. 2009 Stanley Cup playoffs. Ducks-Sharks, Caps-Pens, Canes-Bruins, and an awesome 7-game series between the Pens and Wings to cap it off.
    4. The Blues going from 12th in the West to earning the 6 seed in the last three months of the season.
    3. The Utes going 12-4 in MWC play, earning a share of the regular-season title, then winning the MWC tournament.
    2. Being able to attend all 6 Utah home games, plus two road games and an Alabama game.
    1. Sugar Bowl.

    Television:
    5. ESPN's "30 for 30".
    4. Parks and Recreation.
    3. 30 Rock.
    2. Party Down.
    1. Mad Men.

    Music:
    5. "Veckatimest" - Grizzly Bear
    4. "Still Night, Still Light" - Au Revoir Simone
    3. "The Resistance" - Muse
    2. "It's Blitz!" - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
    1. "Swoon" - Silversun Pickups

    Cinema:
    5. "Fantastic Mr. Fox"
    4. "Adventureland"
    3. "The Hangover"
    2. "(500) Days of Summer"
    1. "Up"

    Food/restaurants:
    5. Red Rock in SLC
    4. Thai food in Orem
    3. Mexican food in San Diego
    2. Seafood buffet at the Wynn in Vegas
    1. BBQ in Mississippi

This is a cool idea. I'll have to make my own. Not sure if I'd make it public, as I'm embarrassingly uncool, but fun anyway.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

My year can be summed up thusly:

I exchanged my christmas bonus to lose 65 pounds. And I am not sad about it at all.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

You should make one. This thread wasn't intended for me to be the only one making lists.

This cracks me up. I'm surprised there's no mention of laundry in there, though. My husband still believes in the laundry fairy.

I still frequently visit home, and it just so happens that my laundry doesn't need to be done until these visits.
