Timbo, I really dig your gray suit and your topcoat. They look very sharp.

Not being flip, but does Japan have big and tall access? A longer tie would be better, esp if you are buttoning our coat.

The look is all style, though. Dig it.

What shoes are you rocking with those? I think you and I have discussed shoes offline before (STFU, all you shoe-hating homophobes!).

I think Tim already addressed that in his post. Nice of you to share your coat with Tim, btw.

Love the monochrome look, Tim. Very nice.

Big and Tall is definitely hard to find here. Normally I would wear my ties a tad longer, but the day I took these pics I just kindof threw it on to show off the new suit and topcoat. Like I mentioned, I need to lose 10 pounds, then it won't splay open as much below the top button. Until I lose those 10 pounds, though, I'm generally wearing my coats open most of the time.

Regarding shoes, I bought a pair of Johnston & Murphys while I was in Raleigh in September... They're not the most prestigious or ornate shoes, but with all the walking here I wanted a black shoe that was comfortable and relatively stylish. I really love them and they fit perfectly.

I did recently buy a pair of Japan-only Nikes in my size.

*EDIT: By the way, the tie in the top pic is Hugo Boss, and the tie in the bottom two is just an IZOD I got on sale in Raleigh earlier this year. I should take a picture with my new Burberry tie.*

I wear a coat and tie nearly every day, but thank goodness we can relax in jeans on Friday, unless of course I am heading to court that day. That's probably why I have 15 suits in my closet

By the way, the best deal on ties is to go to Italy - whenever I find out someone is heading there I will have them buy me 4 or 5, unless of course I find a way to get there myself.

The lucky thing for guys is that a good suit will last five years, maybe longer.

For women they add all these little details that reflect current trends, but that render them unwearable within two or three seasons. There are definitely trends within menswear, but they're not nearly as extreme and don't seem to change near as fast.

I keep a full change of clothes on the back of my door for that same reason.

well, regardless, I dig the look.

Am I the only one that is intimidated by bold pinstripes in suits? It is a very classic look but for whatever reason, I only have a couple of pinstripes in my closet. And they are very muted. Tim rocks it well.

My favorite suit that I own is brown with an orange pin stripe. I wish it still fit.
