It certainly isn't the primary consideration.

germans love that tan/black interior combo. Don't love it, don't hate it, but if i had my choice, I wouldn't have chosen that particular color scheme. that still looks like a nice ride, kccougar.

Yep. Were it a lighter tan then the grey accompaniment would be fine. The orangeish and grey don't work for me, though.

For some reason I feel like this car is outside your stated $12,000 range.

I can't decide. I do like my cars to have something a little unique about them, but as my daughter points out, this particular "tan" has kind of a pink tint to it. Maybe it's just the pictures. Unfortunately, the car isn't local so it's all I have to go on, but the price is very attractive.

Nice cars, but Ohio is a little further than I want to search.

So what was the car that you posted the picture of? A6? A8?

I recently saw a BMW with a very similar interior, and I wasn't a fan. I think the color seems off in a way. A color without the red tint would look good. At the same time though, if I was getting a good deal on the car, the interior wouldn't kill the deal for me.
                      Not that, sickos.

I like the interior. I think the brown on black is hot!

Traveling on Thursday to pick up my new car. I'm stoked because it meets all my criteria.

You really got an E39 M5 for less than $12,000? How many miles? That is one sweeeeeeeeet car.

$12k even - I think it's a steal. 113k miles but there's no way I'd even sniff one at that price with much lower mileage. It appears to have been well-cared for and I'm not afraid of higher mileage cars as long as the service/maint history is documented.

That is an amazing deal, unless the car has $120,000+ miles on it. The M5 is one of the sweetest cars known to man.
